(In this room I sit, Looking out of a glass screen. Viewing the world outside but never quite seeing anything. These walls of eggshell white are my only company besides some shelves, I know the drunks walking down the street just as well as I know myself. How did I get here, with no door behind and with a latch I cannot open, no matter how hard I try? Cabin fever imminent, breathing the same stale air for years. Wish I was different somehow, maybe I could have gotten somewhere. I just can't figure out what to be... I'm already doing what means the most to me... If someone tells me what I'm passionate about isn't my thing, they're definitely wrong... But I could have been a doctor or a lawyer, someone who makes things right, or brings a person into their heart and saves their life. I was never meant for such a thing at all and I just feel like a bird who was meant to sing beautiful song but can only utter a dissonant caw.) I'm a proud eagle who clipped his wings The song I sing will never leave my head Not even when I'm dead Why is it so hard for me to say What I feel and what I think? Some things are better unsaid.
